
Christopher M. Hyzy
Chief Investment Officer
Christopher M. Hyzy is Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer supporting Bank of America Private Bank and Merrill within Bank of America Corporation. In this role, Chris is responsible for determining the investment view for the wealth management businesses, developing and managing the asset allocation strategy, Fixed Income and Equity management, solutions due diligence, investment policies and guidance, including wealth planning, and, supporting the client-focused investment approach. Previously, he served as the Chief Investment Officer and Chief Investment Strategist for the Private Bank.

Prior to joining Bank of America, he was chief investment officer and head of product strategy for the Latin American Market region of The Citigroup Private Bank. He chaired the Global Investment Themes Committee and was a voting member of the Investment Strategy Committee for the Citigroup Private Bank, and active member of the Investment Policy Committee, the Product Strategy Committee, and senior leadership team. Preceding his role at Citigroup, he was the director of Merrill Lynch’s Investment Policy Group and head of the Investment Committee for International Private Clients.

Chris also held investment positions including director of the Global Portfolio Strategy group for Private Wealth Advisory and senior international equity strategist for Merrill Lynch’s Private Client and Middle Markets Group.

Chris received his B.A. in business from Villanova University and earned an M.B.A. in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Villanova University and previously served on the Provost Board and the Finance Department’s Advisory Council at Villanova, and the Finance and Investment Committee for the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation.


Lucian V. Del Priore
MD, PhD
Dr. Lucian Del Priore specializes in the surgical and medical treatment of retinal disease, including age-related macular degeneration, retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, and ocular trauma.
He received his BS in Physics from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, an MD with Distinction in Research from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and an MS and PhD in Physics from Cornell University. He completed a residency In Ophthalmology and fellowships in Vitreoretinal Surgery and Glaucoma at the Wilmer Eye Institute of the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has served on the faculty of Washington University School of Medicine and Columbia University, where he rose to the ranks of Professor and Robert L. Burch III Scholar in the Department of Ophthalmology and was a member of the Stem Cell Consortium. Prior to coming to Yale, he was the Pierre G. Jenkins Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science, Professor of Regenerative Medicine and Director of the Albert Florens Storm Eye Institute at MUSC in Charleston, SC.
Dr. Del Priore is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Macula Society, the Retina Society, the American Society of Retina Specialists, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the International Society for Eye Research. Dr. Del Priore has published extensively in the peer-reviewed literature and has given numerous invited lectures throughout the world on the treatment of retinal diseases. He maintains an active research laboratory in the biology of retina in health and disease. He was recently elected to the New York Ophthalmological Society, and is a Life Fellow and Member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, having previously received a Senior Achievement Award in recognition of commitment to advancing the profession. He has also received a Senior Honor Award from the American Society of Retina Specialists, and is a Fellow of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He has received an MA (honorary) from Yale University, and a Distinguished Alumnus Award from The Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute at Johns Hopkins in recognition of outstanding contributions to ophthalmology as a Wilmer Graduate. He has received the Lew R. Wasserman Award from Research to Prevent Blindness and a Teacher of the Year Award. He is listed consistently within the Castle Connolly Guide to America’s Top Doctors, as well as Connecticut Magazine Best Doctors.

Most Rev. Paul Patrick Chomnycky, OSBM

Bishop Paul Patrick Chomnycky, O.S.B.M., was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on May 19, 1954. His father, Stephan, had immigrated to Canada in 1948 from the village of Wilchiwchyk, Husiatyn County of the Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine, while his mother, Jessie Delawski, was born in Musidora, Alberta, Canada. He has a twin sister, Patricia, who is an elementary school teacher in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, and both of his parents passed away in 1996.
After graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors Degree in Commerce in 1980, the Bishop worked as an accountant for two years. Responding to God’s call to a vocation, he entered the novitiate of the Order of St. Basil the Great, the Basilian Monastery in Glen Cove, New York, in November 1982. He professed final vows in Rome on January 1, 1988 and was ordained to the priesthood on October 1, 1988 by Bishop Jerome Chimy, O.S.B.M. at Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Vancouver. Further studies followed in Philosophy at the University of St. Anselm and the Gregorian University in Rome receiving a Bachelor’s in Sacred Theology in 1990.
Upon his return to Canada he served briefly as an assistant pastor at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Mundare, Alberta and St. Basil’s, Edmonton. Eventually he would return to both parishes as their pastor in 1997 and 2000 and also served as the pastor of St. Mary’s Church in Vancouver from 1994 to 1997.
During his tenure as pastor at St. Basil's in Edmonton and St. Paul's in Mundare, he was also the superior of the local Basilian monastery. Bishop Chomnycky also served as the Director of the Basilian Fathers museum in Mundare, a member of the Provincial Council of the Basilian Fathers of Canada, and a member of the college of consultors of the Edmonton Eparchy. He was appointed Exarch for Ukrainian Catholics in Great Britain on April 5, 2002 and ordained bishop on June 11, 2002 by His Beatitude Lubomyr Cardinal Husar.
